the Mexican Pilgrim
Emilio is a Pilgrim of Life and the Camino de Santiago. His love for the Camino led him to write the
book Who calls you, Pilgrim? as well as to travel the French pilgrim route, the Tolosana, the
Aragonese, San Salvador, the Primitive Way, The Northern Way and the Epilogue of Finisterre
Muxia in more than 200 days. He traveled around 5,000 kilometers.
Emilio is an insurance businessman. He has inspired thousands of insurance advisors in Mexico.
He is a sensitive writer and an excellent friend.
Having found a wonderful interior Camino in his walk, Emilio has helped and advised many
Mexicans to make their pilgrimages on the Camino de Santiago.
He is a lover of Spain. In his pilgrimages he enjoys the natural landscapes, the history, the
gastronomy, the customs and, in a special way, the people.
Carla Arenillas
Carla is a ghostwriter. Committed, fun and creative freelancer. She carries the work in her
backpack. She is a lover of writing and reading, also an expert in written communication. Mom of a
genius child and eternal apprentice of the Camino.
When she did the French Way, she was amazed at the power of her own body. But even more with
the potential of her mind. Since that experience, she has been in love with the Galician octopus
and the daily adventures that the Camino gives you.
